Vacancy Description
* Provide end user desktop support - Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft 365, User account administration, Peripherals
* Installing desktop PCs and mobile devices via Intune
* Deploying software and configuration
* Creating procedures and supporting end users to maximise their use of IT solutions
* Responding to all incidents and requests on the helpdesk
* Administration of the IT Service Management helpdesk
* Troubleshooting 1st and 2nd line user-based tickets - Various endpoint issues such as Windows OS issues, Microsoft issues, monitor, docking station, printer setup and support, user account management, system permissions, etc.
* Checking backup jobs from the previous day
* Environment checks - physical checks of IT infrastructure, meeting rooms, visitor systems
* Anti-Virus checks - ensuring all endpoints are installed, up to date, and licensed
* Installation of PCs/Laptops to end users via Microsoft Intune
* Installation and support of various printers including multi-function, laser, and label printers
* Support of mobile devices including smartphones and tablets
* Purchasing IT equipment
* Creating and updating work instructions and guides for IT and end users

Training
You will gain a Level 3 Business Administration qualification after completing the 18-month training schedule. Training will be held at In-Comm Training Unit 5A Telford, 54 Business Park, Nedge Hill, Telford, Shropshire, TF3 3AJ, with block release for 2 days a week over 5 weeks. Monthly assessor visits will also be provided.
