Refresh Administrator (ServiceNow) - Remote - Inside IR35

Duration: 4 months

Overview

We're looking for an experienced Refresh Administrator to join our team on a 4-month contract to support the configuration, coordination, and delivery of the Device Lifecycle Management (DLM) refresh process.


This role will see you working remotely with multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of ServiceNow-based refresh activities - from data configuration and troubleshooting through to documentation and service improvements. You'll play a key part in maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and quality during a busy refresh period.


Key Responsibilities

* Configure and maintain ServiceNow data, including locations, schedules, appointments, assets, stockrooms, and work orders.
* Perform triage and troubleshooting of service issues, collaborating with internal IT and support teams to resolve incidents.
* Support ad hoc reporting and data requests relating to refresh operations.
* Recommend and document service and system improvements.
* Maintain accurate operational documentation and process runbooks.
* Keep up to date with ServiceNow functionality and best practices.
* Validate system performance during releases and upgrades.
* Act as a subject matter expert for ServiceNow and the DLM refresh process, promoting best practices and knowledge sharing.


Skills & Experience

Essential:

* Minimum 6 months' experience in an administrative or coordination role with significant ServiceNow focus.
* Strong understanding of ServiceNow fundamentals (tables, reports, business rules, flows, etc.).
* ServiceNow System Administrator certification (or equivalent).
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
* Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive approach.

Desirable:

* Additional ServiceNow accreditations or micro-certifications (ITSM, FSM, Asset Management, Walk-up Experience).
* Basic JavaScript understanding.
* Experience with ServiceNow integrations.
* Previous experience supporting large-scale device refresh or deployment programmes.
