Head of Services – TimeForTalking (Health Is One)

TimeForTalking is a key adult psychological support service within Health Is One, created to meet the growing and evolving psychological needs of individuals and organisations. We deliver inclusive, whole-person care that integrates emotional, cognitive, physical, and social wellbeing. As we enter a rebranding and growth phase, we are reimagining how we deliver impactful, holistic, scalable, and sustainable mental wellness solutions.
Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial Head of Services to lead the next phase of TimeForTalking's evolution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on shaping services, driving growth, and building partnerships that expand our reach and impact.
You will lead the development of new service models, identify opportunities for innovation, and drive client acquisition and engagement strategies. You'll also play a key role in representing the service externally and aligning our offer with the broader mission of Health Is One.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth & Development
* Lead the evolution of TimeForTalking's service model in line with our rebranding and long-term vision.
* Develop and implement strategies to increase client acquisition, engagement, and retention.
* Identify and pursue new markets, partnerships, and growth opportunities.
* Shape and refine our integrated service offering to meet emerging needs.
* Identify relevant grant opportunities and manage the end-to-end application process.
* Lead the end-to-end process of identifying, preparing, and submitting competitive bids for tenders that align with our strategic goals and service offering.
Innovation & Service Design
* Explore and pilot new approaches to psychological support, including integrated care, digital and hybrid models.
* Use TimeForTalking data & feedback to inform service innovation.
* Stay up to date with sector insights.
* Ensure services remain inclusive, forward-thinking, and aligned with whole-person care principles.
* Contribute to the development and delivery of psychological assessments and personalised care plans, ensuring services are tailored to individual client needs and aligned with our whole-person approach.
External Engagement & Representation
* Represent TimeForTalking at events, conferences, and strategic meetings.
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and funders.
* Act as a visible ambassador for the service and its values.
Leadership & Collaboration
* Work closely with the Directors and wider Health Is One team to align strategy and delivery.
* Support a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Contribute to internal planning and strategic decision-making.
* Lead and support recruitment processes for service delivery roles, ensuring we attract, select, and onboard skilled professionals who align with our values and service vision.
Person Specification
Essential:
* Proven experience in service development, business growth, or strategic leadership in a wellbeing, mental health, or coaching context.
* Strong track record of identifying and delivering growth opportunities.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Creative, adaptable, and comfortable working in a changing environment.
Desirable:
* Experience in rebranding or service transformation.
* Knowledge of digital service delivery models.
* Qualification or background in counselling, coaching, or psychological wellbeing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
