Your Role EF Oxford is looking for energetic, outgoing individuals to join our Activities Department as Activity Leaders for a year-round school. Dive into a world of organizing and delivering mind-blowing activities, excursions, and events for our international student community. Responsibilities Leads groups of international students on a variety of activities and day trips Creates a lively atmosphere during excursions, delivering excellent customer service Takes responsibility for health and safety of all students including completing and adhering to risk assessments and emergency situations in line with EF policy and procedures Delivers an initial welcome briefing to students before an activity Keeps attendance records Researches excursion destinations, leads a guided tour at the destination and gives interesting information and facts to students Organises and distributes relevant supplementary materials to students for activities Ensures all records, receipts and evaluations are handed in to the Student Activities and Events Manager at the end of activities Ensures the welfare of all students, with a focus on students under 18 years of age, making sure robust procedures are followed to ensure their safety and wellbeing Liaises with co-leaders and the Student Activities and Events Manager to discuss how to improve future activities and gives a thorough handover after each activity or event to aid future planning Attends and assists the Student Activities and Events Manager with large events Ensures the EF behaviour code is followed by all students at all times and informs the management immediately if there are any issues or problems Assists with other duties as requested by the Student Activities and Events Manager or Customer Support Manager Requirements Highly motivated, energetic and positive with a sociable, outgoing personality Confident in leading and managing groups of students Highly organised and thorough, able to use initiative and work unsupervised Ability to handle difficult situations with ease and remain calm under pressure Customer service minded and quality oriented Friendly and approachable manner Awareness and appreciation of cultural differences.
