Senior Quantity Surveyor – Residential Developer – Dartford
Up to £85,000 + Package

Hill McGlynn is exclusively recruiting on behalf of a leading residential developer with a strong presence in the South East. Due to continued growth and a healthy project pipeline, our client is looking to appoint an experienced and commercially astute Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dartford.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business that runs realistic and well-structured build programmes, offering a long-term role with genuine prospects for progression.
Key Responsibilities:
* Full commercial management of residential housing schemes from start to completion
* Oversee procurement, subcontractor packages and cost control
* Produce and manage CVRs, valuations, and final accounts
* Provide commercial guidance to the wider team and support junior staff
* Work closely with technical, construction and site teams to ensure financial efficiency
* Maintain and maximise profitability without compromising on quality
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within residential housebuilding
* Essential: Working knowledge and daily use of COINS software
* Strong understanding of JCT contracts and housebuilding cost structures
* Excellent negotiation, reporting and communication skills
* Able to manage multiple sites and mentor junior QS staff
* Proactive, commercially driven and detail-focused
