As a Mentor assistant with Axcis you will: • Be a role model, mentor and daily support to the child/ren you will be working with. • Support students with SEND to overcome social and academic barriers. • Support the class teacher in delivery of the curriculum • Make reasonable adjustments to ensure students thrive in the setting. • Provide 1:1 or group support to identified students. • Be passionate about supporting students with SEMH needs • Provide support advice and guidance • Promote independence in line with the settings policy.
