Got strong clinical knowledge that you want to put to use in your next role? Think you’d be good at advising surgeons and theatre staff on products during cases? If so, this Clinical Specialist role could be perfect for you.
A bit about the company and what they can offer you
Our client is a dynamic orthopaedics company that is growing year after year. In this role, you’ll join a close-knit and vibrant team with real spirit – so you’ll fit right into the collaborative, supportive environment that they offer. They’re real champions of people being their biggest asset, so they place a lot of value on progression and development, making it a fantastic place to grow your career.
They can also offer you a great benefits package, including the ability to opt into flexible private medical insurance, a strong matched pension scheme, and corporate discounts on some of the latest tech.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll put your clinical knowledge to good use in this role! Being a Clinical Specialist is all about using your understanding of the products – and of anatomy in general – to support clinical teams in theatre settings with the product portfolio. You’ll offer them guidance and consult them on best use of the products before, during, and after theatre procedures.
Basically, you’ll be the main interface between our client and their clinical customers. You’ll really get to know them so that you can give them the best customer experience possible and make sure they’re getting the most out of their products.
Your day-to-day might look a little like this:
* Advising on product use during a theatre case
* Providing guidance to new and existing customers
* Training theatre staff on the products
* Account management for the hospitals in your territory
* Gathering and translating clinical data into insights for the sales team
* Managing inventory levels
* Keeping the CRM database up to date
A bit about you
Ideally, you’ll be based around the Bristol, Cheltenham, and Gloucester area, with good access to Reading, and will have a strong understanding of human physiology and anatomy (most likely gained in a science/medical focused degree).
Here’s a few other things our client is looking for:
* Comfortable in a theatre/operating room setting
* Strong communication skills
* Able to talk confidently about clinical matters
* Excellent time management skills
* The ability to travel across the territory – being comfortable driving is essential
