Site Manager Responsibilities
* Lead on site execution of construction projects, managing all day-to-day site activities
* Communicate effectively with the client, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
* Ensure full compliance with health and safety procedures, including risk assessments, method statements and site inspections
* Monitor progress against programme, budgets and quality standards
* Coordinate subcontractor work, materials and site logistics
* Prepare and deliver regular reports on progress, issues and mitigation plans
* Ensure all site documentation (permitting, site records, safety logs) is maintained accurately
* Act as the main point of contact for the project, supply chain and other stakeholders
* Promote and enforce a safety-first culture on site
What We Are Looking For
Experience and Qualifications
* Proven experience as a Site Manager or Site Agent on construction projects, ideally with experience in refurbishment works and civils.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and practice (for example SMSTS, First Aid or equivalent)
* Must hold relevant tickets and certifications such as SMSTS and First Aid appropriate for site management
* Strong technical construction knowledge with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications and construction methods
* Computer literate with experience using site and project management software as well as good Microsoft Office skills
* Trade experience preferred but not essential.
* Driving License is essential.
