Social Worker Are you a dedicated social work professional passionate about making a difference in children's lives? We are excited to offer an excellent contract opportunity for a Social Worker / Senior Practitioner (Children's) to join our dynamic team. Position Overview: As a Social Worker / Senior Practitioner (Children's), you will be responsible for managing your caseload, providing expert supervision, and contributing to practice development within our children's services team. This contract role offers a chance to develop your skills while making a meaningful impact. Contract Details: Duration: 3 months with possible extension Employment Type: Contract Location: [Insert Location & Parking Info] Pay Rates: Social Worker / Band 1 (ASYE 2 years’ experience): £28.55/hour inclusive of holiday pay Senior Social Worker / Band 2 (ASYE 3 years’ experience): £30.57/hour inclusive of holiday pay Advanced/Senior Practitioner / Assistant Team Manager: £33.30/hour inclusive of holiday payCandidate Responsibilities: As a Social Worker / Senior Practitioner (Children's), your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Managing and prioritising a caseload of children and families, ensuring timely interventions. Conducting assessments ensuring the best outcomes for children. Producing clear, comprehensive reports and case notes. Working collaboratively with multi-agency teams and partner organisations. Providing supervision and support to junior team members when needed. Contributing to practice development, sharing knowledge, and supporting continuous improvement. Upholding safeguarding procedures and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements. Participating in team meetings, case reviews, and training sessions.
