* Contract: Full time, 37.5 hours a week, 8am – 8:30pm
About the Role
Priory Combs Court is looking to recruit Support Workers to join our compassionate team.
What you’ll be doing
* Supporting residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, eating and personal hygiene
* Performing light housekeeping tasks including dusting, vacuuming and changing bed clothes
* Assisting with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning and movement of individuals
* Providing support to attend medical appointments
* Observing, monitoring and recording physical and emotional well‑being, reporting any changes to senior staff
* Supporting the development of family connections and liaising with specialists such as speech & language therapists and learning disability teams
* Encouraging participation in social and recreational activities that promote personal growth
What you’ll bring to the role
* Excellent interpersonal skills and a caring nature
* Empathy, understanding and patience
* Ability to work on your own and as part of a team
* Understanding and following policy and procedure
* Ability to anticipate and respond to challenges
* Competent in verbal and written English
* A healthcare qualification is desirable but not essential
