The role of a cleaner is crucial in maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within educational facilities. This position ensures that all areas, including classrooms, corridors, and communal spaces, are kept in pristine condition, contributing to a positive and healthy atmosphere for students and staff.
Responsibilities:
* Clean classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas
* Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
* Dust and wipe surfaces
* Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately
* Restock supplies such as toilet paper and hand soap
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
* Possession of an Enhanced DBS
* Experience in cleaning or a similar role
* Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
* Ability to follow health and safety guidelines
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively
