Key Responsibilities Oversee all day-to-day finance operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and revenue recognition. Prepare monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and detailed board reports. Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements, VAT, and HMRC submissions. Partner with the FP&A lead to manage budgets, forecasts, and business planning insights. Supervise and mentor the finance team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth. Strengthen internal financial controls and streamline accounting systems and processes. Liaise with auditors, external accountants, and advisors to ensure smooth audit cycles. Provide insightful financial analysis to support senior leadership in strategic decision-making. About You Qualifications and Experience: Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent). Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Finance Manager, ideally within property management or real estate. Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and financial reporting standards. Demonstrated leadership ability with experience developing and mentoring finance professionals. Skills and Competencies: Proficient in accounting systems (e.g. Sage, Propman, or similar platforms). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
