A great opportunity has arisen to join Salford’s Safeguarding Children’s Partnership as the Head of Business and Impact Lead. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience of excellent partnership working to lead the day-to-day impact of the partnership and strategic priorities ensuring the partnership arrangements are effectively delivered to evidence impact for children and their families.
We need someone who is passionate about safeguarding children and who has detailed knowledge and is able to provide a clear understanding of best practice with experience of working with partner agencies at a strategic level. You will be self-motivated and experienced in management and leadership. You will be confident in your knowledge of legislation and statutory guidance, policies and procedures and multi-agency working.
The successful candidate will oversee and manage the operational delivery of the business unit, by providing high quality support to the partnership, promoting a multi-agency learning culture of high support and high challenge and ensuring compliance with statutory arrangements and procedural and quality assurance frameworks.
A key part of the role is to develop and implement the strategy for the Partnership to ensure sound and robust multiagency safeguarding arrangements, writing and representing reports and analysing information which will make a difference for children and families across Salford
What are we looking for:
* To have at least 5 years post qualifying experience in a professional role within the safeguarding arena. ·
* To have experience in a supervisory role demonstrating leadership and management skills.
* To demonstrate good case review skills and ability to analyse case and audit/data information systemically, to support thematic learning across the partnership.
* Professional credibility through proven relevant experience in a similar role.
* Experience of using a strength focused and relational approach to support improved outcomes for children and young people.
* Models and demonstrates Salford’s values and behaviours.
* Detailed knowledge of legislation and law in relation to children and families
* Detailed knowledge and understanding of the implementation and management of complex casework processes and procedures.
