Are you highly motivated and enthusiastic? Would you like to train in a role that can make a difference? We are looking to recruit Pre-Registration Trainee Pharmacy Technicians to be based at Salford Royal Hospital with our friendly team of Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Medicine Management Assistants and Assistant Technical Officers.
Responsibilities
* Pharmacy Technicians have an important role within the primary and secondary care managing all aspects of medicines.
* Trainees will contribute to healthcare in the Hospital working across the whole health care system.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade A‑C or grade 4‑9 including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, or dual science.
* Willingness and ability to follow an academic and practical training course and commit up to 10 hours per week of your own time for private study.
Training and Development
You will study for a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in the Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians on a day release apprenticeship program delivered online. Applicants must possess the required qualifications and be prepared to undertake the course, which leads to registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council.
