Responsibilities:
1. Develop processes, methods, and procedures for testing sub-assemblies, products, and systems.
2. Design and develop hardware such as test jigs, fixtures, and platforms to enable functional testing of PCBA’s and sub-assemblies.
3. Design, install, and commission test solutions into suppliers’ production processes.
4. Provide training and mentoring for suppliers and test technicians, and create necessary support documentation.
5. Perform Customer Factory Witness tests.
6. Support product design engineers on new product design for manufacturing compliance.
7. Develop tests for new product introductions.
8. Create test procedures for boards subcontracted for assembly.
9. Travel to subcontractors to train staff and set up board-level testing.
10. Troubleshoot products to component level using engineering specifications, schematics, and product documentation.
Minimum Qualifications:
* HND / HNC in Electronics or 5 years of relevant working experience.
* At least 1 year of continuous experience testing electronic equipment in a manufacturing environment.
* Preferably 1 year of experience with root cause fault finding on electronic PCBA’s to component level.
* Knowledge of electronic measurement equipment, especially in power electronics (DMM) and analog signal domain (Oscilloscope).
* Strong PC skills, including MS Office.
* Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
* Technically oriented, analytical, and methodical.
