SEN Teacher Daily Rate: £150 - £220Location: Croydon, LondonJob Type: Full-time We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our supportive team in Croydon, London. Day-to-day of the role: Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences for SEN students.Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students' varying needs and interests.Establish and communicate clear objectives for all learning activities.Observe and evaluate student performance and development.Provide appropriate feedback on work.Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students.Maintain accurate and complete records of students' progress and development.Update all necessary records accurately and completely as required by laws and school policies.Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures.Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of the school.Participate in department, school, and parent meetings.Communicate necessary information regularly to students, colleagues, and parents regarding student progress and student needs. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.Experience working with SEN students in a school setting.Strong understanding of the specific needs of SEN students and effective strategies to address these needs.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to build relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.Strong organisational and time-management skills.Patience, creativity, and flexibility.
