Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Days only - early finishes)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000

Day to Day of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
* Respond to breakdowns of machine tools, assembly, and test machines.
* Perform fault finding, rectification, basic mechanical interventions, and development of machinery as necessary.
* Liaise with internal and external suppliers for service engineers and spare parts.
* Plan and organise maintenance activities considering the impact of machine downtime.
* Identify and maintain an up-to-date record of trackside spares and required parts.
* Raise purchasing requests and coordinate with the purchasing department.
* Collaborate closely with the maintenance team and utilize communication systems for maintenance handovers and asset traceability.
Required Skills & Qualifications of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
* HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Experience in maintaining, repairing, and developing machinery.
* Knowledge of PLCs and PC diagnostics.
* Drive diagnostics and repair capabilities.
* Desirable: CNC diagnostic experience, electronic fault finding, 18th Edition electrical regulation, IOSH or NEBOSH qualification, and apprenticeship served.
