Job Introduction We’re looking for a highly organised and proactive Regional Project Officer to join our Careers Hub team on a part-time basis, working full days on Wednesday and Thursdays and for half a day on Fridays. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a programme that connects schools, colleges, and employers helping young people access the information, experiences, and support they need to make confident decisions about their future. As a Regional Project Officer, you’ll play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Careers & Enterprise Company (CEC) programme across the West Midlands. You’ll work closely with colleagues, schools, and external partners to keep projects on track, ensure data is accurate and timely, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement. This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You’ll be supporting the planning and coordination of events, producing clear reports and presentations, engaging with key stakeholders, and contributing to a high-performing, impact-focused team. What you will be doing. Track and report on project performance, providing clear, accurate data Support the delivery of CEC-funded projects and WMCA commissioned activity Provide admin support and coordination for meetings, events, and network sessions Liaise with schools, colleges, and employers to share resources and updates Support internal communications, content creation, and newsletters Prepare and deliver presentations to internal teams and external partners Assist with financial tracking and quarterly claims Promote best practice through the collection and sharing of insights Maintain high-quality records, monitor feedback, and support evaluation activity What’s essential. Experience working in a target-driven or project-based environment Strong project management and reporting skills Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities High attention to detail and confident handling data Proactive, organised, and comfortable managing competing priorities A team mindset with a willingness to learn and improve processes Good understanding of programme governance, risk, and monitoring Location.
