LOGISTICS WAREHOUSE MANAGER
LOCATION: Glenrothes
WORKING HOURS: 45 hours, Monday – Friday
Overview
You will oversee and manage all aspects of logistics and warehousing operations, including goods received, stored, dispatched and transported. The Logistics Warehouse Manager is responsible for ensuring health and safety, quality, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery while driving operational excellence and team development.
Responsibilities
* Ensure health and safety, quality, and cost efficiency within warehouse operations.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to ensure high performance and compliance with company policies.
* Develop and implement operational strategies to optimise productivity, efficiency, and budget adherence.
* Ensure department is managed to budget and resource requirements.
* Manage sustainability compliance for the logistics function.
* Ensure external contractor control and management to company policies and procedures.
* Manage the inward processing (IP) process to ensure compliance, adherence and benefit.
* Ensure adherence to all aspects of logistical compliance including but not limited to, regulatory and international shipping requirements.
* Ensure the correct storage and management of flammable substances.
* Oversee logistics contracts & tender process to ensure competitive pricing and relationships with third party logistics.
* Ensure waste management compliance for the site.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) like TCIR, stock accuracy, delivery performance, and efficiency metrics.
* Oversee the correct storage of flammable substances aligned to legal and insurance requirements.
* Adhere to all aspects of logistical compliance including regulatory and international shipping requirements.
* Manage budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities through cross functional projects.
* Establish, maintain and enforce health and safety standards for the department.

* Problem-solving aptitude for complex logistical challenges.
* Logistics compliance knowledge including relevant regulations and requirements.
