We seek an experienced architect for an emerging and reputable architectural design studio based in West Sussex.
Supra Design is an award-winning architecture and interior design studio based in Manor Royal, West Sussex. We seek a qualified part 2 or 3 architect with a minimum of 3+ years of UK experience in residential, commercial, & hospitality industries. This position is a freelance/ contract role with an opportunity to become permanent. As a key member for upcoming projects, you will be responsible for assisting with planning applications, technical drawings, specifications and liaison with key members of the project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in planning and building regulations.
* Proficiency in SketchUp & Layout software. Experience in AutoCAD maybe considered, however, we prefer someone willing to learn and use in-house software.
* Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
* Availability for site visits across the UK.
* Admin proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for creating and managing work schedules for the allocated projects.
* Proficiency in Adobe InDesign & Photoshop for presentation purposes.
* The ideal candidate is required to collaborate with professionals outside the team to ensure seamless coordination from inception to project completion.
* Proven experience in liaising with suppliers, contractors, and clients is required.
* Conducting material research, proposing innovative architectural design solutions, and preparing specifications for client projects is preferred.
* Attention to detail is a must, as we work on high-end and turnkey projects in-house.
Requirements:
* Qualified ARB or RIBA architect with at least 3+ years of experience in residential/ commercial & hospitality industries.
* Salary is to be discussed based on experience.
* The role is full-time/ contract employment. With an opportunity for a permanent position for the right person.
* Must be available to work at the office 2-3 days a week.
* Must have your own laptop - software will be shared by us.
