Job Summary
As a Registered Nurse at a Barchester care home, you will look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve. You will create a safe and supportive environment for residents with a range of physical and mental needs, and rely on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions. Your responsibilities will include developing tailored care plans, administering medication safely, and delivering excellence across everything you do.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement person‑centred care plans for residents.
* Assess and manage the physical, psychological and social needs of residents.
* Administer medication safely and accurately.
* Make critical clinical decisions and exercise professional judgement.
* Maintain high standards of care and support a safe environment.
* Document care plans, risk assessments and clinical observations.
Qualifications
* Current NMC registration.
* Knowledge of up‑to‑date clinical practices.
* Experience in creating detailed care plans and risk assessments.
* Understanding of regulatory frameworks including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines.
