12 month fixed term contract in Reading with hybrid working. A leading UK charity is seeking a FP&A Manager to lead partnering, drive performance, efficiency, and implement commercial process improvement within a high performing FP&A function.
This role is about using financial insight to shape strategy, guide operational excellence, and manage a small team. You will work closely with senior leaders to influence key decisions, bring clarity to complex data, and lead scenario planning that drives real-world outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
* Partnering with operational teams to deliver strategic goals through robust budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles.
* Leading scenario modelling and performance analysis to improve productivity and service delivery.
* Driving insight through activity-based costing, ROI and KPI analysis, and innovative reporting tools.
* Managing a small team and championing financial understanding across the business.
* Building business cases that articulate clear, measurable benefits.
* Influencing senior stakeholders and guiding the financial direction of key initiatives.
Experience and qualifications required:
* Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CA) - essential
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience in performance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Track record of working in medium to large organisations, ideally with exposure to service delivery models.
* Experience in activity-based reporting and productivity measurement.
* Strategic mindset with a collaborative, influential approach.
* Previous people management or mentoring experience.
