Senior Planning Analyst - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
In this role you will deliver scenario planning, performance insights, and impact assessments that support operational and strategic decisions while driving simplification and automation in reporting. Strong analytical skills and experience building accurate planning models are required.
Location: Hybrid working 2 days a week onsite either Dunfermline or Livingston campus.
What you’ll do
* Perform scenario planning initiatives with planning teams and stakeholders to guide decision‑making and deliver optimal outcomes.
* Deliver accurate omni‑channel insights to support data‑driven decisions across the business.
* Create, maintain and deliver detailed analytical outputs, including ad‑hoc analysis and consolidated supply‑vs‑demand plans to support operational and strategic planning.
* Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships between Planning and operational teams, ensuring consistent communication and alignment with stakeholder priorities.
* Work cross‑functionally with wider planning teams and stakeholder groups to share best practices, align on goals, and drive continuous improvement.
* Analyse data to uncover trends, pain points, and opportunities across customer and advisor journeys, crafting compelling insight narratives that influence decision‑making and drive change.

* Proven experience building accurate planning models and forecasts with a strong understanding of planning methodologies and business drivers.
* Robust analytical mindset and structured approach to problem‑solving underpinned by a strong data foundation.

* Creativity and innovation, identifying and implementing solutions that improve processes and deliver benefits for customers, advisors, and the business.

* Experience using planning tools and systems, with ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies to enhance performance and insight delivery.
* Builds strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external counterparts, sharing ideas, aligning on joint plans, and driving operational efficiencies.
