Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the L36 area of Liverpool to recruit a dedicated Year 6 SATs Support Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils during a crucial stage of their education and help them reach their full potential.
The Role:
As a Year 6 SATs Support Assistant, you will:
1. Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support in English and Maths
2. Support pupils with SATs preparation, confidence, and exam readiness
3. Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored interventions
4. Help create a positive, encouraging learning environment
5. Support pupils with varying learning needs to achieve their best outcomes
The Ideal Candidate:
6. Experience working with Key Stage 2, ideally Year 6
7. Strong knowledge of SATs expectations and curriculum
8. Patient, nurturing, and motivating approach
9. Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
10. Relevant TA qualification or school-based experience is desirable
