Tyre Technician / Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tyre Technician/Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of hand and power tools. As a Tyre Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and performance of our customers' vehicles by providing high-quality tyre services. This position requires heavy lifting and a commitment to excellent customer service. .
Duties
* Inspect, repair, and replace tyres on various vehicles, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to perform tyre installation and maintenance tasks.
* Conduct routine maintenance checks on tyres, including pressure adjustments and tread depth assessments.
* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their tyre needs and recommendations.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
* Assist in heavy lifting tasks associated with tyre handling and installation.
* Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to tyre technology and maintenance.
* Day to day management of the business, bookings, ordering parts, invoicing etc.
Qualifications
* Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or maintenance preferred.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
* Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required in the role.
* A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and techniques related to tyre services.
