The School Officer is a key member of the Administration Team, responsible for supporting the smooth, efficient, and welcoming operation of the school. This role provides administrative, financial, and customer service support within a fast‑paced Education Support environment. As the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and community members, the School Officer maintains a professional front office, responds to enquiries, prepares correspondence, manages student records, and assists with enrolment and attendance processes. Beyond front‑office responsibilities, the School Officer contributes to the operational functioning of the school by assisting with the coordination of facilities, assets, and resources. Duties would include managing maintenance requests, supporting out‑of‑hours use of school facilities, maintaining key registers and security codes, and ensuring office supplies and documentation are well organised. The role also supports staff‑related processes such as inductions and the coordination of relief staff, requiring initiative, flexibility, and a proactive approach.

The School Officer would oversee a range of financial and office operations, including cash handling, EFTPOS processing, ordering and managing supplies, and coordinating maintenance and service requests. Additional responsibilities may include providing basic medical and student welfare support, maintaining confidential records, assisting with compliance requirements, and offering general administrative support across the Administration Team. The successful applicant would display the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing needs, and contribute positively to the day‑to‑day running of the school.
