Role Summary and Purpose
* Manage portfolio of claims across various business lines
* Handle and assess claims in line with the Arch claims philosophy
* Attend market claims meetings as required
* Report to Underwriters on claims trends/significant claims as required
* Liaise with brokers, stakeholders and insureds as required
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
* Adjust, assess and manage claims within own defined authority
* Act as referral point and ensure new claims and notifications are dealt with promptly and reported as required
* Ensure coverage is accurately reviewed and that reserving is correctly set and maintained
* Manage internal reporting to London claims team
* Interaction and support of claims management as required
* Prompt reporting of large losses internally
