What you will do:
* Lead and manage the Kinship & SGO Support team and the Private Fostering team, focusing on daily support and assessments.
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality support services tailored for kinship carers, SGO families, and private fostering situations.
* Supervise and guide a team of social workers and family practitioners, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for service excellence.
* Liaise closely with social work teams, families, carers, and multi‑agency partners to ensure seamless service access for children’s needs.
* Review and oversee assessments, develop needs‑based support plans for carers and families, and ensure comprehensive resource management.
* Manage team resources and budgets effectively to optimise support services.
* Attendance in the office will be required according to the needs of the service, with opportunities for hybrid working arrangements available for discussion during the interview process.
