Overview
Cwm Seren PICU is an eight-bed mixed gender Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit.
We are looking for motivated and dynamic individuals who can work under pressure and join our dedicated team of staff, who aim to provide the highest standards of care and treatment to all our service users.
There is opportunity to learn new skills and develop professionally within a positive and challenging environment.
Care and treatment are provided through CTP with an emphasis on recovery, providing hope and optimism for the future, evidenced based interventions and psychological therapies, with emphasis placed on returning our service users to the least restrictive environment within an optimum and appropriate time frame.
The successful candidate will assist the MDT in providing holistic and person-centred care and treatment to service users experiencing complex and challenging mental health difficulties.
We are looking for individuals with a caring and empathetic approach, dedicated to providing non-judgemental and holistic care to all service users. The ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential, with the post holder requiring excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The post will entail night and day shifts dependent on the service needs.
Various full and part time hours are available.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Two integrated care centres: Aberaeron and Cardigan in Ceredigion, and several other community settings
47 general practices (six of which are health board managed practices); dental practices (including four orthodontic); 97 community pharmacies; 43 general ophthalmic practices; and 8 ophthalmic domiciliary providers
