Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Contracts Manager based in Gloucestershire. The Electrical Contracts Manager will oversee the execution of electrical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and in accordance with industry standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing and coordinating electrical contracts, supervising project teams, liaising with clients, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The role will involve preparing bids and tenders, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring all work adheres to relevant standards and guidelines.
Qualifications
* Strong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and coordinating teams
* Comprehensive knowledge of electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance standards
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders
* Proficiency in report writing, documentation, and record-keeping
* Problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills
* Proficient with software tools related to project and contract management
* Recognized qualifications in Electrical Engineering or related fields (e.g., NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition Wiring Regulations)
* Previous experience managing electrical projects is highly desirable
* Leadership and team management experience in the electrical or construction sectors are advantageous
