We have a spectrum of clients ranging from FTSE Top 10 to small businesses turning over >£50m. All of them seek our high insight, high value, high ROI approach to the measurement of their customers’ and employees’ experience.
The PO team is virtual, diverse, multinational, idiosyncratic and highly educated. We are looking for a full time Sales and Marketing Manager to join our team.
The purpose of the role is to cover 3 key areas to drive a strong pipeline of future business: to personally sell, to act as the sales manager coordinating the team and improving existing processes and approaches that will drive sales effectiveness, and to drive/oversee appropriate marketing outputs, increasing our digital presence and engagement.
In this role we require the holder to do:
Sales
* Personally identify and engage with potential clients to secure new business
* Drive and coordinate lead generation, client acquisition and sales velocity across the team
* With input from executive team, improve and implement an effective sales and marketing strategy in line with the overall business objectives.
* Review and manage the existing HubSpot CRM system
* Line manage the Sales Administrator and the Sales Team
* Relationship manage the network of introducers and partners
* Using your knowledge of the PO product suite, provide answers to prospect queries where needed
* Price projects
* Liaise with the Client Delivery Manager to identify delivery capacity
* Identify and attend suitable virtual and in-person networking opportunities
* Regular reporting on agreed KPIs
Marketing and PR
* Design and implement successful digital marketing campaigns in line with the sales and marketing strategy
* Monitor, analyse and report on real-time and periodic marketing data, corporate trends and industry developments, applying these to the existing strategy monthly
* Liaise with our external web developer and social media supplier to maximise traffic, engagement and ultimately qualified leads.
* Identify and engage in opportunities to increase our brand presence in target markets
Competencies
* Demonstrable results in a sales and/or marketing management role that consistently closes business with medium to corporate businesses
* High level verbal dexterity and precision. Excellent attention to, and interpretation of, language and meaning
* Experienced HubSpot user, able to guide others on using the software
* Detail orientated; will be familiar with pricing projects, negotiations, handling objections and closing deals
* Understanding of customer and employee experience methods and practices an advantage
* Compelling and persuasive presenter: demonstrable competence with MS PowerPoint
* Executive Presence: can comfortably walk into the C-Suite working environment
* Highly disciplined, determined and proactive
* Highly practical and able to “roll sleeves up and get stuck in”
* GDPR: Good knowledge of the basic constraints and practices of GDPR required for briefing the client and drafting proposals.
Our entire team work remotely and you may be based anywhere in the UK. Proximity to London would be advantageous, but not essential. The role will be subject to a six month probationary period.
