As a Chartered Building Surveyor with Summers-Inman, you’ll contribute to delivering high-quality building surveying services and be part of a team that focuses on customer peace of mind and value delivery.
Responsibilities
* Carry out building surveying duties, including but not limited to:
* Condition Surveys
* Dilapidations
* Part Wall Awards
* Defects Diagnosis
* Pre-acquisition surveys
* PPMP and asset condition schedules
* Measured Surveys
* Design & Specification writing
* Contract Administration
* Quality and Technical Monitoring
What does it take?
* Degree qualified in Building Surveying
* MRICS Chartered Building Surveyor
* Client facing with ability to build long-term relationships
* Strong technical delivery experience
* Excellent specification writing skills
* Good understanding of JCT Contracts
* Excellent IT skills including electronic survey methods
* Previously employed by a consultancy
* Team player, outgoing, flexible, enthusiastic and ambitious
* Collaborative approach with experience of working in teams and on own initiative
* Flexible approach to working
Working arrangements
We embrace smarter working practices with flexible and remote working where the role and business needs allow. The successful candidate would work from Summers-Inman, 80 Caroline Street, Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham B3 1UP and may be home-based. Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm, with flexible working accommodated.
