Job title: SEN Teacher
First for Education are seeking an experienced and committed SEN Teacher to join a special school on the outskirts of Wolverhampton, supporting pupils with additional needs, specifically ASD to access learning and achieve their potential.
This is a full-time, potentially permanent position, working within a specialist SEN provision.
The school has a strong focus on inclusive practice, personalised learning and pupil wellbeing, making it an excellent opportunity for an SEN Teacher looking to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment.
SEN Teacher benefits:
Competitive Salary if Perm (MPS + SEN point) or daily rate (£160 – £250 per day, dependent on experience) if Temp to Perm.

SEN Teacher role requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND
• Strong understanding of differentiation and inclusive teaching strategies
• Ideally experience supporting ASD, or a willingness to do so
• Ability to plan and deliver personalised learning
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
The successful SEN Teacher will:
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet individual needs
• Support pupils with a range of additional learning and behavioural needs
• Monitor, assess and track pupil progress
• Work closely with the SENCO and wider support team
• Create a positive, structured and inclusive learning environment
• Support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
