Rates starting at£224/day based on a 10-hour day
Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Head Chefto join our kitchen team for a fixed-term role. Working specific dates in August/September for a premium private client in the Scottish Borders.
Must be confident to work on your own most of the time, though will be assisted by a Sous Chef on some dates.
Must be a driver with own vehicle to get around the area. Accommodation provided on site.
OVERVIEW:
Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Breakfast: Full Scottish as well as continental, Cereals grains etc and eggs to service
Lunch: Combo of picnic homemade sausage rolls, quiches etc things that can travel when guests are out. Need to be prepped and ready by 9am on certain days.
Options for sit down hot and cold meals.
Dinner: Canapes, Starter, Main, Dessert options daily
Lobsters/Scallops/Lamb/venison etc typical high-end Scottish menu.
Team Support:
* Supported bySous Chefon certain days
* A Butler will support with service.
Dates required:
* 8-13 Aug | 21 Aug- 7 Sept |24-27 Sept
Days prior required for prep and food sourcing (local products).
What we are looking for:
* Experience at Head Chef level
* Able to work on your own
* Organised, calm under pressure, and reliable
* Confident in creating menus using local Scottish ingredients
* Driver with own car
* Experience of working with private, high-end clients
