Demand Planner
Dover based - The successful applicant will live in Ashford, Maidstone, Hythe, Folkestone, Dover, Deal, Sandwich, Thanet, Canterbury, Whitstable, Faversham or Sittingbourne.

About the Role
We are seeking an organised and proactive Demand Planner to join our Clients' manufacturing operations team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate demand forecasting and effective planning to support supply, production, and engineering activities. You will work cross-functionally to balance customer demand with manufacturing capability in a fast-paced, changeable environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using SAP and Excel
Translate demand plans into actionable supply and production requirements
Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to align plans and resolve constraints
Monitor forecast accuracy and recommend improvements to planning processes
Respond effectively to changes in demand, supply, or production capacity
Prepare and communicate reports and planning updates to key stakeholders
Support continuous improvement initiatives within planning and manufacturing operations
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience in demand or production planning within a manufacturing environment
Strong working knowledge of SAP
Intermediate Excel skills, including vlookups, formulas, data analysis, and reporting
Confident user of Microsoft Outlook for professional communication and coordination
Highly organised with a proactive and adaptable approach to change
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams, including planning, engineering, and production
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capability
