Personal Assistant

Location

At my home and in the local community.

Work Hours

4 hours per week, divided into 2 one‑hour shifts, flexibly worked between Mon‑Fri afternoons usually 2‑4pm.

Pay

£15.55 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Keeping me safe by supporting me in my home.
• Prompt and encourage me to engage in some physio for my hands and complete tasks around my home.
• Assist with some personal care.
• Support with accessing my local community to aid my mobility.

Requirements

• Mindful of my conditions.
• Patient, reliable, dependable, punctual.
• Adhere to confidentiality.
• Must have a satisfactory reference and DBS (Police) check.
• Have the right to work in the UK and a National Insurance number.

Other Information

The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) check, which will be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority). The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK before you start work. Though a part‑time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.
