We’re partnering with an award-winning architectural practice to recruit a Senior Architectural Technologist for their creative and collaborative studio in West Sussex. As a Senior Architectural Technologist, you’ll play a key role in project coordination and delivery, leading design teams while maintaining close communication with clients, consultants, and contractors. Key Responsibilities
* Lead project delivery through RIBA Stages 4–6, with a focus on residential and mixed-use developments.
* Prepare and coordinate comprehensive working drawing packages, including plans, sections, elevations, schedules, and detailed technical information.
* Manage coordination between consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.
* Act as the primary client contact, providing clear, consistent, and professional communication throughout all project phases.
* Mentor and support junior team members, fostering technical quality and collaborative working.
About You
* Degree or HNC/HND in Architectural Technology (CIAT accreditation advantageous).
* Proven technical experience on medium to large-scale projects (typically GBP 5m+ construction value).
* Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
* Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and Housing Standards.
* Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams.
* Confident working both independently and within a collaborative studio environment.
* Highly skilled in technical detailing and familiar with modern methods of construction.
