Multi-Skilled Engineer (x2) L ocation: Aylesham, Canterbury, Kent Shifts: 28-day continental rotation ( working 14 days out of each 28) 3 days on, 2 nights on, 5 off, 2 days on, 2 nights on, 5 off, 2 days on, 3 nights on, 4 off Hours: 6am6pm / 6pm6am (12-hour shifts) The Opportunity We are currently seeking two experienced Multi-Skilled Engineers to join a leading UK manufacturer within the food and packaging industry based around the Aylesham Canterbury location Due to continued growth and investment, this is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and well-established business offering long-term development and a supportive working environment. Key Responsibilities Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on machinery and equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime. Support and deliver engineering projects aimed at improving production efficiency and reliability. Perform root cause analysis and implement effective technical solutions. Work on electrical installations up to 430V, PLCs, and control systems. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure compliance with all Health & Safety standards. Collaborate with production teams to deliver continuous improvement initiatives. About You Qualified in Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or apprenticeship trained). Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within an FMCG or manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills. Confident working independently and as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills. A proactive attitude with a commitment to maintaining high standards.
