About the Unit:
The Haematology Oncology Suite comprises a 10-chair area and a 5-bed area with a side room facility. The care provided includes chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood transfusions, and other complex treatments for haematology patients in a day case setting. The unit also offers blood transfusion services, treatments, and investigations for specialties such as gastroenterology, endocrinology, and rheumatology. Additionally, the unit manages haematology clinics.
Role Responsibilities:
You will work alongside our nursing team to provide individualised care, monitor patients, and administer therapies to this vulnerable group.
Candidate Requirements:
We seek a highly motivated registered nurse capable of working confidently with a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication skills, teamwork, and a commitment to high standards of care are essential. Venepuncture and cannulation skills are advantageous but not essential, as full support will be provided. We offer excellent opportunities for skill development in this area.
