This role has a direct impact on EE/BT current & future Network Performance, Network Efficiency & Subscriber’s Experience (inc Emergency Services Network). It helps maintain & strengthen EE/BT position as #1 UK mobile network and push for global top‑ten network, and influences positive/negative perception and PR of Network performance/customer experience.
What You’ll Be Doing – Your Accountabilities
* Drive improvement in Radio Coverage & Performance through effective performance management and localized network optimisation.
* Perform detailed analysis of proposed site designs to ensure optimal network performance.
* Perform new site radio optimisation to ensure cells perform well when first activated.
* Ensure sites meet regulatory requirements and recommend design adjustments to maintain compliance.
* Provide clear feedback with supporting evidence regarding issues.
* Identify and prioritise investment requirements to drive customer experience, building effective business cases to justify investment.
* Support development of less experienced team members and share knowledge openly.
* Produce evidence packs to support decision making and secure investment.
* Use advanced data analytics skills to drive improved ways of working.
* Support regional manager to complete priority tasks.
Experience You’d Be Expected To Have
* Advanced Mobile Network RAN optimisation/planning and/or RAN Performance knowledge.
* Ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations using incomplete information.
* Produce clear and effective written and verbal communication to justify actions.
* Experience of radio site designs and propagation models.
* Knowledge of crowd data sources and how they improve understanding of radio propagation and customer hot spots.
Preferred experience
* Data Analytics – ability to process and investigate large datasets.
