We're hiring: People Operations Manager (UK, Hybrid)
Fractory is scaling fast and we're looking for a sharp, detail-driven People Operations Manager to keep our people operations running smoothly as we grow.
This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who loves structure, cares deeply about employee experience, and knows how to run compliant, reliable HR operations without overcomplicating things. You'll work closely with our Head of People & Culture, owning day-to-day People Ops delivery across the UK employee lifecycle, while supporting collaboration with our international teams where needed.

What you'll do:
As People Operations Manager, you'll own the operational backbone of HR in the UK. You'll ensure every stage of the employee lifecycle is handled professionally, compliantly, and with a great employee experience in mind.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Acting as first point of contact for UK employees and managers on People policies and operational queries
* Managing the full UK employee lifecycle: offers, contracts, probation, changes, absences, and leavers
* Coordinating monthly payroll inputs and statutory changes with Finance
* Administering UK benefits and supporting annual benefits cycles
* Owning onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth, compliant transitions
* Maintaining accurate, audit-ready employee records in line with GDPR
* Being a key user of HRIS and ATS systems, ensuring clean data and smooth workflows
* Supporting People reporting requests (headcount, joiners/leavers, tenure, etc.)
* Ensuring Right to Work checks and UK employment compliance are completed correctly
* Supporting employee relations processes through documentation and coordination
* Owning UK Health & Safety operations, including policies, risk assessments, and incident reporting
* Supporting recruitment processes where needed, including coordination and direct sourcing
* Creating and improving People Ops SOPs and internal documentation
* Supporting company-wide people programs such as performance reviews and engagement surveys
