About the role:
In this role you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to the Royal Navy Training Design Service. As the Training Design Lead, you’ll support the Integrated Training Design Service to deliver learning that is blended, active and provides customer delight.

Desirable
* ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) and Defence Systems Approach to Training (DSAT).
* Training and/or Instructional Design.
* Program management tools and applications.
* Knowledge and practical experience of UK Ministry of Defence procedures and policies.
Responsibilities
* Accountable for all training courses assigned to you and your team with regards to training transformation. An advocate for creating training content that is active, engaging, inclusive and learner-centric.
* Ensure processes that support review and change of training courses follow the end-to-end training design process, are DSAT compliant, consider media enhancements, adhere to quality standards and are resourced appropriately. Proactively addressing, resolving and escalating any challenges that may impact delivery.
* Proactively seeking feedback and impact stories to further enhance training courses and to continuously improve and celebrate the work completed. Ensure changes from validation are incorporated into all training design activity to keep training up-to-date and aligned with performance requirements.
* Build strong stakeholder relationships with subject matter experts to contribute to training transformation.
* Identify opportunities to provide accreditation for new or amended training and implications for existing accreditations following Training Design changes.
* Lead contributions to the development of overall instructional strategy and analyse and implement changes to training programmes, identifying effective and ineffective instructional design methodologies.
* Act as a technical lead to ensure processes follow latest defence policy guidance.
* Accountable for the continuous professional development and growth of team members and yourself to unlock potential and contribute to success.
* Lead, build and nurture high-performing teams, fostering collaboration and leveraging diverse talents to achieve goals. Motivate and inspire others to perform at their best and maintain a positive work environment with wellbeing focus. Manage employee relations within the HR context.
* Champion and foster a culture of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) compliance and continuous improvement.
* Follow security standards and system requirements to protect data and ensure smooth operations.
* Any other duties required to support the Integrated Training Design Service.
