Hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
What you'll be doing:
Drive sales growth and deliver excellent customer service by proactively managing customer accounts, handling complex quotes, and developing new business opportunities.
You will build lasting relationships with customers, colleagues and suppliers by providing the right solutions and maximising sales and profitability .
Key Responsibilities :
* Develop ing new customer accounts and lapsed accounts .
* Maximise customer interactions to support achievement of sales and profit targets through upselling and cross-selling relevant products offering specific product advice.
* B uild effective relationships with customers and supplier s
* Manage customer feedback accordingly and follow plans to continuously improve customer experience.
* Support delivery of KPIs for the sales office as well as achieving Regional and National targets.
Required Skills and E xperience:
* Previous experience working in building merchants (experience in Civils and utilities merchants is desirable).
* Current knowledge of civils building materials and of the current construction market would be beneficial to the role .
* Proven experience in sales or customer focused environment delivering results.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills; written, phone and face to face.
* Experience in Microsoft Packages (Excel and Teams)
