The Role
As our new Business Teacher you will:
* Teach Business Studies across Key Stages 3, 4 (GCSE) and possibly Key Stage 5 (A-Level / BTEC)
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, challenging and creative lessons
* Monitor and assess student progress; provide constructive feedback
* Participate in the development and review of the Business curriculum
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice
* Help foster students’ understanding of business concepts, enterprise, finance, marketing, and real-life application
* Contribute to departmental and whole-school events, and possibly extracurricular activities related to business / enterprise

Person Specification: What We Are Looking For
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Degree in Business, Business Studies, Economics or related subject
* Previous teaching experience in Business / Economics, ideally including KS4 and KS5
* Strong subject knowledge and up-to-date awareness of business trends and qualifications
* Excellent classroom management skills; high expectations of behaviour and learning
* Good communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
* A commitment to continuous professional development

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
