We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with both hand and power tools.
As a Fabricator/Welder, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality metal components that meet our stringent standards.
Duties
* Perform TIG and Stick welding on various materials, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks, including cutting, shaping, and assembling metal components.
* Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately fabricate parts and assemblies.
* Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet required tolerances and quality benchmarks.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and resolve any fabrication issues that may arise.
Ideal Requirements
* Proven experience in welding.
* Strong fabrication skills with experience in working with sheet metal.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the fabrication process.
* Solid mechanical knowledge, enabling effective troubleshooting of equipment issues.
* Basic mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
