Sir Alexander Fleming Primary School and Nursery is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our committed teaching staff and help foster a positive learning environment for all pupils. Key Responsibilities: Work closely with class teachers to support the delivery of high-quality lessons. Assist individual students or small groups with their learning, including those with additional needs. Help create a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment. Support students’ emotional, social, and educational development. Assist with classroom preparation, displays, and administrative tasks. Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities (e.g., playtime, lunchtime supervisor). We’re Looking For Someone Who: Has a genuine passion for working with children. Possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills. Is patient, reliable, and highly motivated. Ideally has prior experience in a school setting or relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 TA qualification) – though training can be provided.
