Job Description: Electrical QC Inspector

The Role
* Execute the inspection and Quality Control activities on site, collecting the relevant records.
* Ensure that all electrical operations are executed in accordance with the relevant Codes and Standards, and Subsidiaries procedures, Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans.
Key Responsibilities
* Execute specific inspections on material, equipment, and construction/installation activities on site, following relevant procedures, and issuing the relevant Quality Records.
* Issue Quality Records and, when necessary, write and send non-conformance reports to QC Supervisor.
* Check cable laying and cable identification.
* Check and test installation of electrical equipment such as power transformers, switchboards, accumulator batteries, sockets, lighting systems, etc., in accordance with the Inspection and Test Plan.
* Perform visual inspections, dimensional tests, check ratings and materials for connections.
* Perform tests of continuity and insulation resistance.
* Check installation of materials.
* Perform functional tests and cable connection tests.
* Verify workers’ qualifications for special processes.
* Witness tests, controls, and inspections.
* Ensure conformity with the Quality Control Plan, manage documentation, and certify tests, controls, and inspections.
* Ensure proper implementation of approved Inspection Test Plans.
* Collect, manage, and verify documents certifying tests and inspections, ensuring records are retrievable within the final As-Built dossier.
* For subcontractor activities, ensure correct implementation of Quality Control Plans and witness inspections.
* Ensure all master testing equipment is calibrated according to international standards.
What We’re Looking For
* Saudi ARAMCO CBT in Electrical and Instrumentation.
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Knowledge of the National Electric Code/NFPA 70, IEC, or equivalent standards, including Industry Codes and Standards related to Intrinsically Safe Systems and Electrical Systems.
* Minimum 5 years of experience, with at least 3 years in the Oil & Gas industry.
