Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a recent Graduate or an individual looking for data driven Apprenticeship where we can offer training & development and on the job experience from the leading property services group. You will be joining a team that transforms data into insight, helping millions navigate the housing market with confidence. This is your chance to be part of a respected research function that influences strategy, supports colleagues and clients, and shapes national conversations.

Connells Group owns Hamptons estate agents, whose research team is widely recognised as one of the UK's most respected housing market commentators. As part of a newly integrated research function, you'll be joining a team that brings together the analytical expertise of Hamptons Research and the consultancy focus of Connells Group Research. Together, we deliver insight and analysis across the group—supporting PR, strategy, and commercial consultancy work.

We're looking for a curious, data-driven individual to join the Connells Group Research team. Working alongside the highly respected Hamptons Research team, you'll help uncover housing market trends and deliver insight that informs strategy, supports clients, and drives national conversation.

This is a unique opportunity to become a housing market expert, develop advanced analytical skills, and contribute to high-impact research that reaches industry leaders, policymakers, and the press.

What you'll be doing:

* Analyse proprietary and public data sets to identify emerging trends in the UK housing market
* Support the creation of reports, briefings, and commentary for internal stakeholders, clients, and media
* Create, manage and enhance big data models to deliver groundbreaking insights
* Contribute to blogs, customer emails, and press analysis to ensure research reaches a wide audience
* Present findings at internal meetings and champion the value of data-led decision-making across the business

What we're looking for:

* A demonstrable interest in housing, economics or public policy and a clear desire to learn
* Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex matters in a clear and engaging manner
* A creative, inquisitive, and problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyse situations and recommend sound solutions
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Advanced Excel skills with experience analysing complex data sets. Experience using database and analysis tools is desirable (e.g. SQL, MS Power BI, Fabric)
* A degree in economics, maths, science, politics or similar is preferred

Typically, we're in our central London office 2–3 days a week, but this can change depending on what we're doing. When you're not in the office, there's flexibility to work in a place that suits you.

Connells Group UK is an equal opportunities employer and positively encourages applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, transgender status, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.
