Overview
Engineer – Power Station Integration
Locations: Hybrid working with one of the following locations as your primary base: Derby, Warrington or Manchester
The Business
Our mission is to deliver clean, affordable energy for all. Our Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technology provides a British solution to a global energy challenge. We are positioned to become a world leader in SMRs and the UK’s premier green export capability, shaping the future of low‑carbon power. This role offers you the opportunity to contribute to a once‑in‑a‑generation engineering programme and leave a lasting legacy.
The Team
The Power Station Integration team brings together the functional design of the entire RR SMR power station. By integrating the product‑level architecture, defining key performance attributes and undertaking detailed optioneering, the team ensures the overall plant meets its top‑level safety, performance and customer requirements. This team works at the centre of the engineering programme, connecting systems, functions and disciplines to deliver a cohesive, optimised and compliant power station design.
Summary
We are recruiting Power Station Integration Engineers to join our industry‑leading, cutting‑edge design programmes. You will deliver an integrated power station design using systems engineering methods, collaborating with subject matter experts and multi‑disciplinary engineering teams to ensure top‑level product requirements flow effectively into lower‑tier systems.
