Location: Field-Based (Regional Coverage)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm + Occasional Saturdays
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Forklift Engineer to join a growing and well-established materials handling business. This is a field-based position where you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing forklift trucks at customer sites across your designated region.

Key Responsibilities:

Service, maintain and repair a wide range of forklift trucks (diesel, LPG, and electric).

Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
*
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
*
Attend breakdowns and respond to emergency call-outs.
*
Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
*
Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety standards.
*
Provide excellent customer service while on-site.
What We’re Looking For:
*
Previous experience as a forklift engineer, plant engineer, or field service engineer.
*
Strong fault-finding skills (mechanical, electrical & hydraulic).
*
Experience working with brands such as Toyota Material Handling, Linde Material Handling, Jungheinrich, Hyster, or Yale is desirable.
*
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance / Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
*
Full UK Driving Licence (essential).
*
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
*
Have your own tools
